Konok Privacy Policy

Konok is provided by Absolutization LLC, Illinois, United States. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the Android application Konok (app.konok). Contact us at jokerfeat@gmail.com for support or privacy questions.

What Konok does

Konok lets you choose a test location and simulate movement along a road route. It does not require a Konok account. The current version does not offer live Uber or Lyft account linking, live ride requests or automatic acceptance of orders.

Location information

With your Android permission, the My location button requests your device's current location to show it on the map. You can revoke location permission in Android settings. This button does not start a simulation. Konok does not continuously record your actual travel history.

Locations selected on the map or entered as coordinates, route endpoints and route geometry are processed to display and simulate your chosen route. Selected points may be real or fictional. When you start a simulation, Konok supplies test coordinates to Android through its mock-location system. Other applications with access to location may receive those coordinates and handle them under their own policies. You can stop the simulation using the app controls or its foreground-service notification.

Information sent to map and routing services

Konok uses internet services to display maps and calculate new road routes:

• OpenStreetMap Foundation: map tile requests go to tile.openstreetmap.org. Tile identifiers reveal the geographic area being displayed. This can include the area around your real location when you use My location. The service receives your IP address and ordinary request metadata, including the app's user-agent. • FOSSGIS routing service: selected route endpoint coordinates go to routing.openstreetmap.de to calculate a road route. The service also receives your IP address and request metadata. Its service information states that route requests are recorded in server logs and links to its privacy policy.

These requests use HTTPS. Providers may process requests on servers outside your country. They control their server logs and retention practices; deleting data from Konok does not delete those logs. Contact the relevant provider regarding information it retains. Konok does not send a continuous stream of simulated movement to a Konok server.

Data stored on your device

Konok stores selected coordinates, the current saved route and preview, route endpoints, favorite places, language and unit choices, simulation settings, driver-filter settings and local notification preferences/history in its private app storage. Map tiles are cached to display recently viewed areas. These local settings are not a cloud account or a cloud route library.

Saved settings and routes remain until replaced or deleted. Clear route removes the saved active route, route preview and route endpoints; it does not erase favorites or all settings. To remove all local Konok data, use Android Settings → Apps → Konok → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Clear cache removes cached files, not all preferences. The app disables Android cloud backup and excludes its app data from Android's configured device-transfer rules.

Permissions and notifications

Location permission supports location features. Mock-location selection in Android developer options allows test coordinates to be supplied to Android. A foreground service keeps a user-started simulation running, including while you switch apps, with visible controls to stop it. Notification permission is used for notifications; driver-assistant examples are local test notifications. Internet access supports maps and routing. Konok does not request background-location permission for continuous real-location tracking.

Accounts, advertising and support

Konok does not require account registration and does not display advertising or provide an in-app analytics service. The current app includes authentication components for future integrations, but Uber/Lyft connections are disabled. Local driver-filter examples do not retrieve real orders or send driver profiles to those platforms.

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond and resolve your request. Correspondence is handled through our email provider and retained as needed to manage the request and any associated legal obligations. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing jokerfeat@gmail.com. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. We cannot remotely access or delete information stored only on your device.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We may disclose support correspondence when legally required or necessary to address abuse or protect legal rights.

Security, children and policy changes

Konok uses Android app-private storage and HTTPS for its map and routing requests. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Konok is a testing utility intended for a general audience, not specifically directed to children. If you believe a child sent personal information to our support contact, please contact us so we can address it.
